E2-7110 Details

The AMD E2-7110, released in 2015, is a mobile processor based on the Carrizo-L architecture, built on a 65 nm process node. As of early 2026, it's considered an older device, with its performance now well behind modern offerings. It features a dual-core design with four threads, a base clock of 2.66 GHz, and a turbo frequency of 2.3 GHz, operating at a 65 W TDP. The chip integrates Radeon R2 graphics with a burst frequency of 896 MHz and supports up to 8 GB of DDR3L 1333 memory across a single-channel interface. Despite its relatively high clock speed, the E2-7110's performance is constrained by its older architecture and limited core count.

In benchmark testing, the E2-7110 achieves a multicore score of 4330, ranking #1653 out of 2060 processors, placing it just ahead of the Celeron 3955U and Core i3-2330M, but trailing behind the A6-3500 and Pentium E5800. Its single-core performance scores 3776, ranking #1906, slightly below the Athlon 5150 and Atom N450, but outperforming the E2-9000e and Athlon 64 3500+. Overall, the processor scores 3998, ranking #1890, narrowly surpassing the Pentium N3710 and Core i3-380UM, but falling behind the Celeron N3450 and Athlon 64 X2 4000+.

The E2-7110's most notable feature is its integrated graphics, which offer basic multimedia and light gaming capabilities. It supports advanced instruction sets including AVX, AVX2, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, and AES-NI, along with virtualization technologies such as AMD-V and Intel VT-x. However, its lack of simultaneous multithreading and limited cache—0.061 MiB L1 and 1.907 MiB L2—contribute to its modest performance in modern workloads.

While the E2-7110 was competitive in its time for budget laptops and light computing tasks, today it is best suited for basic productivity applications and media playback. Its performance is significantly below current top-tier processors, as seen in the top 50 rankings, where even entry-level modern CPUs like the Ryzen 5 9600X and Core i9-14900K outperform it by a wide margin. As of February 2026, the E2-7110 remains a legacy device, ideal for systems requiring low power consumption and basic processing, but unsuitable for demanding applications or modern software.
