Though now over a decade old, it was once part of Intel's mainstream Xeon lineup, targeting business and professional applications requiring reliable multi-threaded performance. The processor features a 4-core, 4-thread configuration, with a base clock speed of 3.0 GHz and a turbo frequency of 2.7 GHz, which is lower than typical modern standards due to its outdated architecture. It operates on the LGA771 socket and is limited to a maximum memory capacity of 16 GB, supporting DDR3L 1333/1600 and LPDDR3 1600/1866 memory types. With a TDP of 80 W, it maintains a balanced power profile, suitable for older server chassis and low-power workstations.
