Ryzen AI 7 350 Details

The Ryzen AI 7 350 represents a significant step forward in AMD's mobile processor lineup, designed specifically for high-performance laptops that demand both power efficiency and advanced AI capabilities. Launched in January 2025, it is part of the Ryzen AI 300 series, built on the Zen 5 and Zen 5c architectures, and fabricated using TSMC’s 4 nm process node. Despite being a relatively new release, its position in the broader market reflects a strategic shift toward integrating AI acceleration directly into the CPU, with the processor positioned as a premium mobile solution rather than a mainstream or budget option.

At the heart of the Ryzen AI 7 350 are eight cores, which, thanks to Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT), deliver 16 threads of processing power. This architecture allows the chip to handle complex multitasking and compute-heavy applications with efficiency. The base clock runs at 2.0 GHz, but the processor can boost up to an impressive 5.0 GHz, depending on workload and thermal conditions. With a TDP of just 28 W, the chip maintains a strong balance between performance and power consumption, making it ideal for thin-and-light laptops where cooling and battery life are critical.

Memory support is modern and robust, with the Ryzen AI 7 350 supporting DDR5 and LPDDR5X memory at speeds up to 5600 MT/s via a dual-channel interface. This enables high bandwidth, which is crucial for data-intensive tasks such as video editing, 3D rendering, and AI inference. The processor also includes PCIe 4.0 with 16 lanes, allowing for fast storage and expansion options. Additionally, it features a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of delivering up to 50 TOPS, a standout feature that positions the Ryzen AI 7 350 as a leader in AI-driven workloads such as real-time image processing and generative AI applications.

Integrated graphics are provided by the Radeon 860M GPU, which includes 1280 shaders and can reach a maximum frequency of 2.2 GHz. While not designed for high-end gaming, the integrated graphics support up to four displays and are well-suited for productivity, content creation, and light gaming. The processor also supports hardware virtualization via AMD-V, enhancing virtual machine performance, and includes full support for AVX, AVX2, and AVX-512 instructions, making it a strong performer in scientific and engineering software.

In benchmark testing, the Ryzen AI 7 350 achieves an overall score of 6460, placing it at #124 out of 2060 processors tested. It scores 6145 in multicore performance and 6670 in single-core performance, ranking #211 and #87 respectively. These results place it just below flagship desktop CPUs like the Core i9-11900K and Ryzen 9 8945HS, but ahead of many mobile processors such as the Core i9-13900H and Ryzen 9 PRO 5945. Its single-core performance is particularly strong, indicating excellent responsiveness and efficiency for everyday tasks and single-threaded applications.

As of March 2026, the Ryzen AI 7 350 is best suited for users who require a compact, high-performance mobile platform with advanced AI capabilities. It excels in productivity, content creation, and AI workloads, while maintaining low power consumption. While it may not compete with top-tier desktop processors in raw multicore performance, its integration of AI acceleration, efficiency, and modern features make it a compelling choice for professionals and power users in the mobile space.
