Core i3-4340 Details

As of March 2026, the Intel Core i3-4340 remains a relic of the Haswell era, launched in September 2013 as part of Intel's mainstream desktop lineup. While it is now over a decade old, the processor still holds a modest place in the broader CPU landscape, particularly for users maintaining older systems or requiring basic computing capabilities. Built on a 22 nm process and featuring the Haswell microarchitecture, the i3-4340 was designed for entry-level performance with a focus on integrated graphics and power efficiency. Its 54 W TDP and FCLGA1150 socket make it compatible with a wide range of older motherboards, though it is no longer supported in modern platforms.
