Sony Raises Prices for PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, and Portal by Up to €100 Starting April 2026
Sony has officially announced price increases for all PlayStation 5 console models and the PlayStation Portal Remote Player, effective April 2, 2026. Prices will rise by up to €100, with the standard PS5 at €649.99, the Digital Edition at €599.99, and the PS5 Pro at €899.99. The PlayStation Portal will increase by €30 to €249.99. Sony cites ongoing global economic pressure and rising memory component costs, particularly DRAM shortages due to high demand from AI companies like OpenAI, as key reasons.
