Xiaomi has unveiled a suite of new smart home devices in China, reinforcing its position as a leader in affordable technology innovation. Among the highlights is a 10-kg front-loading washing machine featuring 24 wash programs, app control, and OTA updates. The company also introduced the Mi Home Air Conditioner Super Energy Saving Pro, which boasts an APF of 5.31 and an AI-powered energy-saving algorithm, surpassing its predecessor in efficiency. The device supports HyperOS Connect for seamless smart home integration and is available in a 3HP version for around €850. Another key release is the Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 6 Max, a vacuum and mop robot with a powerful 35,000 Pa suction and a mop roller. It can overcome obstacles up to 6 cm high and includes an intelligent cleaning station with 85°C water cleaning and 50°C drying. In contrast to the Ecovacs Deebot T90 Pro Omni, which features a 27 cm ultra-wide mopping roller and PowerBoost for rapid recharging, Xiaomi’s offerings emphasize ecosystem integration and affordability. Additionally, Xiaomi launched a more budget-friendly 10-kg top-loading washing machine priced at just over €101, offering 10 wash programs and app control, though it may leave high moisture levels due to its low drying spin speed. All devices are currently available only in China, reflecting Xiaomi’s strategy to expand its smart home ecosystem through accessible, feature-rich products.
