These processors feature a hybrid architecture that balances performance and power efficiency, along with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of delivering up to 40 TOPS of AI performance. Built on Intel's advanced 18A manufacturing process, the new chips offer improved performance over previous generations like Tiger Lake while maintaining affordability. The product range spans from the Core 3 304 to the Core 7 360, with initial laptops already available and edge systems expected to arrive later in the second quarter of 2026. This launch reflects Intel’s broader strategy to bring AI-capable computing to mainstream and edge applications, particularly in the growing fields of IoT and edge computing. At the same time, the Mesa graphics driver project has released version 26.1-rc1, introducing a range of new Vulkan extensions, performance optimizations, and gaming improvements across Intel, AMD, and other hardware platforms.
