Intel Core Ultra 400 'Nova Lake': New Desktop CPUs with Up to 52 Cores and 288 MB Cache Unveiled

Intel has revealed the details of its upcoming Core Ultra 400 series, codenamed Nova Lake, for desktop systems, which are set to enter mass production in the fourth quarter of 2026. The processors are expected to feature up to 52 cores and a cache capacity of up to 288 MB, with an additional 144 MB of cache per compute tile. The lineup is based on an advanced tile architecture and includes single- to dual-tile configurations, with variations in core count, cache size, and TDP. The top-tier models will reach a TDP of 175 watts, targeting high-end users and professional workstations.
