Acer has significantly broadened its hardware portfolio at Computex 2026, strategically targeting the growing markets for AI wearables, efficient computing, and high-performance displays. For the first time, the manufacturer is entering the smart glasses sector with two distinct devices tailored to different user needs. The AR Vision GR0, priced at €599, functions as a high-resolution external virtual display primarily for multimedia consumption. In contrast, the more affordable AI Glasses GI0 (€399) integrates Google's Gemini AI, utilizing built-in cameras and microphones to provide real-time translation and image analysis capabilities.
In the laptop segment, Acer unveiled the Swift Air 14 as a direct alternative to Apple’s MacBook Neo. Priced under €800, this ultrabook is equipped with Intel’s latest Core Series 3 processor code-named 'Wildcat Lake', a responsive 120Hz display, and an efficient 70Wh battery that promises up to 19 hours of runtime. Set for European release in August, the Swift Air 14 aims to appeal to productivity-focused users seeking high efficiency and modern performance without the premium price tag often associated with comparable Apple products.
Acer also made substantial moves in the display market, announcing five new gaming monitors under its Predator and Nitro brands available from late 2026. Ranging in price from €599 to €1,499, models like the XB273K 3D and X34 F1 feature cutting-edge technologies including OLED panels, resolutions up to 5K, and refresh rates exceeding 1,000Hz. A key innovation is the AI-driven 3D conversion, allowing users to experience stereoscopic depth without specialized glasses. Rounding out the lineup are the portable monitors PM131QT, featuring a unique wide-aspect touch design, and the PM161Q JB, which offers flexibility with an optional magnetic keyboard for enhanced mobile productivity.
