New leaks and official announcements suggest that NVIDIA is launching an aggressive strategy to enter the Windows-on-Arm laptop market. Ahead of Computex 2026, the chip giant is preparing several System-on-Chips (SoCs) under the N1 and N1X series designations. These processors combine ARM-based CPU cores with powerful Blackwell GPU architecture and support up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory. The goal is to create a seamless hardware platform for Windows devices that offers both efficiency and high computing power.

A central component of this offensive is the so-called "RTX Spark Superchip," a processor based on the GB10 SoC. This chip combines Blackwell GPU architecture with CPUs from MediaTek (Grace) and positions itself as a Windows-based alternative to the Linux-focused DGX Spark. NVIDIA explicitly targets creators, gamers, and AI developers with this product. According to reports, the performance of the RTX Spark Superchip is comparable to that of a dedicated RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, while maintaining significantly lower power consumption, making it particularly attractive for mobile devices.

The market launch of these new chipsets is scheduled for autumn this year, with major OEM manufacturers already developing devices featuring these components. With this move, NVIDIA directly challenges established competitors such as AMD and Intel in the Windows PC segment. By integrating AI capabilities and high-performance graphics into energy-efficient ARM architectures, NVIDIA aims to set new standards for mobile productivity and gaming while simultaneously addressing the growing demand for local AI computing on laptops.
